Eurovision 2021: Vasil con il brano "Here I Stand"
Da bambino pop star a membro e solista del Chicago Children's Choir a oltre 50 ruoli lirici e recital in eminenti festival musicali in tutto il mondo e collaborazioni con alcuni degli artisti più prolifici del mondo, il motto di Vasil nella vita è semplice - ovunque le parole falliscano - Vasil canta.
Vasil Garvanliev ha iniziato il suo viaggio musicale all'età di 7 anni, esibendosi in alcuni dei più famosi festival per bambini della Macedonia. All'età di 12 anni, insieme alla sua famiglia, si è trasferito negli Stati Uniti dove ha continuato la sua carriera come solista presso il Chicago Children's Choir. Formatosi in alcune delle scuole di musica più prestigiose del mondo, tra cui l'Academia Liricia Italiana di Milano, la University of Toronto Opera School e il Royal Conservatory of Music Glenn Gould a Toronto, Vasil si è esibito in alcuni dei festival più rispettati al mondo. Dal suo ritorno in Macedonia del Nord nel 2018, Vasil ha pubblicato diverse canzoni pop di successo e ha tenuto concerti da solista.
Nel 2020 avrebbe rappresentato la Macedonia del Nord all'Eurovision Song Contest con la canzone You.
