Eurovision 2021: Lesley Roy in gara per l'Irlanda con "Maps"

Lesley Roy rappresenterà l'Irlanda all'Eurovision Song Contest nel 2021 con una nuova canzone. In precedenza era stata selezionata da RTÉ per l'Eurovision 2020 e ora ha una nuova possibilità di brillare sul palco dell'Eurovision.

Lesley Roy è una cantautrice della Balbriggan Co. Dublin, che divide il suo tempo tra la sua casa nell'East Village di New York e l'Irlanda. Lesley ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto, Unbeautiful , nel 2008 su Jive / Sony Records, che è stato prodotto da Max Martin. Come cantautrice, la carriera di Lesley è stata prolifica, prestando il suo talento a numeri eseguiti da artisti tra cui Adam Lambert, Miss Montreal, Medina, Jana Kramer, Marlee Scott e Deorro. Un fan da sempre di Eurovision, Lesley Roy ha detto che finalmente arrivare a rappresentare l'Irlanda con una canzone su cui ha lavorato duramente ha significato che una delle sue ambizioni di vita è stata soddisfatta.
