Eurovision 2021: Eden Alene con il brano "Set Me Free"
Le radici di Eden Alene si estendono dalla sua città natale, Gerusalemme, al paese natale di sua madre, l'Etiopia.
Già una ballerina di talento, Eden ha iniziato le lezioni di canto all'età di 11 anni e non passò molto tempo prima che decise di cambiare le scarpe da punta per un microfono e una carriera nel canto.
Eden divenne ossessionata dalle leggende del pop e del soul come Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson e Chris Brown, ma le sue ispirazioni musicali provengono da una vasta gamma di fonti tra cui musica folk araba, gospel e opera. Da adolescente, ha partecipato con entusiasmo ai cori locali prima di diventare una cantante principale nella band delle forze di difesa israeliane.
Dopo aver completato il servizio militare, Eden si è trasferita a Tel Aviv e ha preso parte a due dei più grandi talent show israeliani : X Factor Israel e The Rising Star . Ha vinto entrambi, rendendola l'unica persona ad averlo fatto nel suo paese.
Oltre a prepararsi per l'Eurovision Song Contest, Eden è concentrata sul suo album di debutto, di cui possiamo aspettarci di saperne di più molto presto.
