Eurovision 2021: Anxhela Peristeri in gara per l'Albania con "Karma"

Anxhela Peristeri è un'affermata cantante, autrice e modella albanese della città di Korçë, nell'est del paese.

Questo è il secondo tentativo di Anxhela di rappresentare la sua nazione all'Eurovision Song Contest, essendo entrata a Festivali i Këngës ("Festival della canzone albanese") nel 2001. Tra i tentativi, la cantante ha trovato il successo in X Factor Greece , Your Face Sounds Familiar e Kënga Magjike (un altro popolare concorso di canzoni albanesi, che ha vinto nel 2017 con la canzone E Çmëndu ).

Nell'ottobre 2020, Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) ha annunciato Anxhela come uno dei concorrenti selezionati per competere nella 59a edizione di Festivali i Këngës con la canzone Karma . Peristeri è uscito vittorioso ed è stato annunciato come rappresentante dell'Albania per l'Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
